Vattenfall has started to build Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ); a 1.5 GW, 140-turbine windfarm in the North Sea. This site is 18 kilometres off the coast, in the area between The Hague and Zandvoort.
We are offering an exciting opportunity as Site Assistant for our HKZ windfarm to be an important part in paving the way for Vattenfall and its customers and partners towards a fossil free future!
What will you do?
As Site Assistant you will be part of a dedicated team, delivering general operations and daily maintenance to our HKZ windfarm.
As our Site Assistant you will contribute to a fossil free future by providing project site support, all administration and operational purchasing for the regional support function and site, and provide support and information to visitors and colleagues in the region.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Coordination training and courses for site;
- Coordinate various suppliers/contractors for sites;
- Contact with government institutions and local community;
- Involvement with Sponsorship & Donations reporting;
- Gather and register time for external personal according to contracts and guidelines;
- Preparing and supporting new employees with onboarding;
- Site reception responsibilities and duties;
- Any other duties commensurate to the role;
Location
You will be based on our site office in IJmuiden.
Who are you?
As our Site Assistant you are action-oriented and consistently setting goals for yourself and taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense high energy and enthusiasm. You have the ability to operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
Next to this you bring:
- Relevant educational background to the role;
- Proven track record and experience of proven assistant and administration support and maintaining office systems;
- Experience with SAP;
- High level of communication skill;
- IT-Intermediate to advanced level of MS Word, Excel and MS Outlook.
