An exciting opportunity exists for you to join our regional Human Resources team as a Country Human Resources Manager based in Luxembourg.
This is a truly dynamic Human Resources role that offers the opportunity to collaborate with regional HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to deliver a best-in-class HR service to our business groups based in Benelux.
Working as part of our supportive and high performing EMEA Human Resources team, you will be responsible for advising and managing the operational aspects of the Benelux Human Resources function. This broad and dynamic position will challenge you across the breadth of human resources coverage. You will also provide advisory services to HRBPs, business managers, and employees on local HR polices and managing ad-hoc daily HR requests relating to the Benelux offices.
As the Country HR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with our regional teams on local benefit reviews, insurance reviews and renewals managing statutory labor reportorial requirements helping design and manage employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
- Working closely with the Country HR Lead on management reporting and analysis for staff in the region
- Driving DEI initiatives locally
- Managing business and employee queries on local HR policies
- Providing advisory services on work permits and visas for expatriates attached to the local entities
- Working with the Employee Relations team to deliver "on the ground support" in employee relations matters.
- Overseeing HR vendor relationships and ensuring that they are delivering top-tier services while managing risks
- Continuously looking for opportunities for process improvement and digitalisation of the local HR processes.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Relevant generalist experience in HR in an international business environment, financial services preferred but not essential
- Knowledge in local regulations and associated policies
- Awareness and understanding of local cultures
- Ability to deal with all levels of employees including management
- Initiative, solutions focused with a strong service/client orientation
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Flexibility in style and approach to assist the business to achieve their strategy
- Fluency in written and spoken English language
- Be highly numerate with an ability to interrogate, interpret and draw conclusions from multiple data sources, and have an aptitude for identifying issues and determining solutions.
