We are constantly looking for the best people to support our worldwide operations. This team supports all our lines of business, across the globe (including America, Europe and Asia) and is recognized as the backbone of our finance operations across the world. We have recently become ACCA Approved Employer, Platinum level. The role interacts with colleagues across European, Asian, and North American territories. Therefore, flexibility is required as the role will often require calls outside of normal working hours.

Responsibilities:
- Full accounting of the Company and its branches, including development and updating of accounting policies, procedures in the area of the General Ledger, preparation of financial statements in accordance with Polish and International Financial Reporting Standards
- Conducting the Company's tax matters in the field of income tax in cooperation with Tax team
- Coordination of the month end closing process
- Supervision over accounting processes and the correct circulation and archiving of financial and accounting documents
- Implementation and improvement of procedures in the accounting department, including in the area of internal control
- Decision support of the company's management in the field of financial and accounting solutions
- Measurement of effectiveness and optimization of accounting processes
- Representing the Company in front of the auditors, state authorities and financial institutions (e.g. GUS, Tax Office, Ministry of Finance)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position. Knowledge of the specificity of the finance and accounting matters in production companies
- Very good knowledge of the Polish Accounting Act, the Corporate Income Tax Act and the International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS
- Experience in audit area will be an additional advantage
- ACCA/ PIBR qualifications will be an asset
- Computer literacy, especially MS Excel is a must
- Knowledge of financial and accounting systems and applications (SAP preferred)
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Ability to think analytically
- Good organizational and communication skills (also with non-financial departments)
- Quick learner, accuracy and inquisitiveness
