Job Summary
International, pan European investor are looking to hire a Senior Asset Management professional based in Brussels, Belgium to run a large mixed-use scheme.Key Responsibilities
- A key member of the Real Estate Asset Management team based in Brussels
- Report to Head of Asset Management based in London
- Asset Management of selected assets under management which include retail, office, residential and mixed-use projects
- Identifying potential challenges with the portfolio.
- Oversee daily operations and leadership of the local asset management team.
- Lead the execution of strategies developed by top management team.
- Monitoring and reporting of asset performance alongside investment and finance teams.
- Lead the procurement of external asset and property managers.
- Monitor the performance of asset management partners and external service provider.
- Advising on technical due diligence issues on acquisition and disposal.
- Interpreting technical reports assessing commercial and investment impacts of matters arising.
- Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and repairs on managed properties.
Backgrounds & Experience
- Relevant Asset Management experience in Belgium / Benelux
- Background could include from client side at a Real Estate Fund or Investor or Real Estate Consultancy
- Candidates may have 8 – 15 years’ experience with proven experience of working autonomously
- Experience across a range of real estate sectors ideally in Brussels, Belgium and potentially across Europe
- Sectors should include office or mixed-use,
- Understanding of the leasing process including negotiation of new leases and renewals
- Experience of supporting capex and refurbishment projects
- Strong at writing reports and investment memorandum
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written in English; fluency in Dutch)
- Strong management skills with experience of managing teams
- Degree from leading university
