The Opportunity
In line with our strategic focus, Teva is seeking a motivated and dynamic APAC Head of Government Affairs & Market Access (GA & MA) to join our growing business.
As the Head of GA & MA APAC, you will be responsible for managing government and regulatory engagement with a focus on influencing public policy and legislative direction, to drive government support and approval on Teva products and indications.
Utilising your extensive government contacts and leveraging on your influencing and negotiation skills, you will build strong relationships with local, state and federal legislative bodies and relevant government agencies to represent and protect Teva’s interests.
Additionally, with your commercial and analytical acumen, you will develop robust market access strategies and identify new business opportunities within the access environment, while engaging with key opinion leaders to secure product reimbursements.

This role reports to the Vice President APAC Cluster Head & General Manager ANZ, and can be based either in Australia or Singapore.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
As Head of GA & MA APAC, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement government relations initiatives.
- Monitor, analyse and report on government policy and legislation including emerging policy, regulatory trends and developing issues etc.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, particularly members of federal, state and local government entities and agencies.
- Undertake reimbursement feasibility assessments and evidence planning.
- Prepare high quality pricing and reimbursement submissions.
- Conduct pricing and listing negotiations.
- Support industry initiatives and consultations related to Market Access, reimbursement or pricing to support sustainable access conditions for patients in ANZ & APAC.
Local & international travel required.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Degree Qualified: Business Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, Medical or related field
- 7-10 years’ experience in Advocacy, Public Policy, Market Access in the Healthcare Industry
- Strong government contacts at local, state and federal levels
- A self-starter with hands-on approach and a strong “can-do” attitude
- Ability to understand and communicate high level data as well as capability to define, evaluate and take risks
- Openness to change with ability to work in a changing environment
- Innovative, persuasive and influential strategic approach to government affairs and market access with a talent in building strong working relationships locally, regionally & globally
