Main Duties/ Responsibilities 1. Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff 2. Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free 3. Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production 4. Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime 5. Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations 6. Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality 7. Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff. Worker’s attendance and yearly appraisal. 8. Overseeing production processes 9. Planning and organizing production schedules 10. Maintain the factory in safe conditions within the limits of his authority. Lead Safety & Health Committee and roles to ensure that the factory is comply with Department of Safety & Health (DOSH) regulations and requirement. 11. Quality control of raw material and finished products, including of incoming and outgoing process, packaging etc 12. Liaise with the government department such as custom, licensing department and others authorities when needed 13. Handling foreign workers affairs including of Hostel Hygiene, Inspection of Hostel as scheduled and disciplinary matters 14. Conduct routine audit of MeSTI, procedures and equipment. Discussion on audit finding, improvement and implementation for better achievement Requirements 1. Minimum 5 years of related working experience in manufacturing environment with at least 3 years at managerial position. 2. Technical and problem solving skills 3. Leadership, interpersonal and team working skills 4. Possess strong capability to plan, organize, implement, lead and supervise day to day production activities
