The NDT department inspects and controls technical installations, from above-ground storage tanks to pipelines, overseeing the construction of factories and conducting inspections during shutdowns. Our NDT employees investigate critical welds and determine wall thickness reductions in structures, plates, or pipe materials.

For our inspection department within the Industries & Environment business line at our headquarters in Spijkenisse, we are currently seeking a NDT operator with at least an ISO 9712 UT level 2 (wall thickness inspection) certification.
As a NDT operator, you will be responsible for independently performing the requested Non-destructive Testing at customer locations. Your work area is mainly in the Rotterdam region and occasionally elsewhere in the Netherlands. In this role, you will work with the latest equipment, such as UT crawlers, scanners, and other robotics to collect the required measurements.
In this role, you will also be responsible for the following tasks:
- You independently perform the assigned technical work in accordance with established requirements and instructions.
- You follow calibration instructions and corresponding calibration statuses.
- You report research findings.
- You communicate your research findings to the customer at the location of execution.
- You ensure a safe working method in a complex working environment.
- You represent yourself professionally and are alert to new potential customers.
To perform this job well, you must have the following:
- At least one year of demonstrable experience in independently performing NDT inspections.
- You do not mind working irregular hours (not a 8-5 job).
- You have a B driver's license.
- Good command of the English language.
