The Role:
In this diverse role, you will provide structural and contents restoration services to clients whose properties have been damaged by extenuating circumstances such as fire, flood or malicious damage. Duties will include cleaning, deodorising and restoring carpets, furniture and other building contents, as well as cataloguing and transporting items when onsite restoration is not possible. On the job training will be provided and career growth opportunities will be available for the right candidate. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Attend water damage, fire damage, sewerage ingress & mould jobs
  • Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation & monitoring
  • Liaise with internal office staff, project managers & external clients
  • Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory lists reports for insurers
  • Complete all necessary job documentation
  • Travel around Metro Melbourne
  • Work away from home on occasion
  • Work a rotating on-call roster, including afterhours shifts

Key Selection Criteria:
  • Background in hands-on, physically demanding roles
  • Experience in Home & Contents Restoration, Cleaning or Construction is highly regarded, however not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Desire to go above & beyond to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work autonomously & collaboratively
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Professionalism, proactive nature & good work ethic
  • Physical fitness
  • Working with Children Check
  • Valid & clean driver license
