About the Job:
The Security Officer is a vital member of the Security Team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the employees and in which guests can relax a nd /or conduct business. This department establishes , promotes and maintains the hotel’s security and property protection. The Security Team is available 24-hours a day . The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

We are looking for individuals who are skilled problem solvers with a high attention to detail and a high sense of ethics and honesty . A candidate who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything he does .
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Previous hotel and resort security experience preferred.
Should be physically fit to patrol long distances.
Sharp eye for detail, excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and or al proficiency in the English language.
Able to formulate and present a comprehensive report .
Good computer skill.
Swimming skill will be an asset.
Understand CPR, first aid and crowd control.
Able to cooperate and work as a team player.
Knowledgeable in Safety and Fire Fighting.
Certified Garda Pratama /Security Certification.
Minimum qualification of Diploma.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining all the log books , records and formulating relevant reports in the Security department.
Answering telephone calls in the post, monitoring CCTV system and the fire alarm system, taking action as necessary.
Actively taking part in fire drills.
Keeping the guest room information confidential, following up with guest room procedures, dealing with VIPs.
Responding properly in any emergency situation .
Patrol the interior and exterior of the resort and confront any person or situation identified as a threat that requires investigation.
Detecting and removing safety or fire hazards in the resort while informing relevant department.
Perform other duties as assigned by the resort management.
Inspect all the fire and safety equipment throughout resort, ie : first aid boxes, fire extinguishers etc.
Control all guest and staff movements throughout the resort by applying appropriate procedures and customer skills.
Record and monitor all vehicle movements to the resort.
Understand the lost and found procedure.
Monitor and be aware arrival and departures of guests and inform FOM.
Check buggy licenses and control the traffic.
Anticipate and prevent situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the resort .
Assist the hotel staff in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, guest or employee accidents, Fire or safety hazards.
Issue passes and keeping records of visitors and construction workers.
