Automotive Steering Column Ltd. operates as an independent division of the Bosch Group. Our company develops, manufactures and markets steering columns for passenger cars and commercial vehicles worldwide and is a supplier to 109 automotive manufacturers. The company is headquartered in Germany. In addition to our plant in Eger, we have 20 other locations, giving us a personal presence in the most important markets.
- Cooperate with central development team, support product development based on serial production experiences
- Initiate effective cost down related product changes for serial production
- Initiate product changes in term of quality and robustness improvement
- Develop manufacturability through deep product design understanding
- Lead engineering change procedure
- Responsible for design support in customer communication, testing and supplier collaboration
- Lead product/design related problem solving team
- 3D model and 2D drawing handling in Creo and Catia V5
- Mechnaical Engineer BSc/MSc
- English as working language (German language knowledge is advantage)
- Experience in automotive product design or serial support
- Experience in CAD (Creo or Catia is preferred), FEA is a plus
- Risk analysis skills such as DFMEA and DRBFM
- Project management and good communication skills
- Experience in international networking
- Analytic, structured mindset
