Job Description
  • Job Title: Warehouse Operator
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 37.5 per week
  • Job Location: Deeside
  • Salary: £21,700-£25,000

Main Purpose of Role

  • Off load deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Inspect, receipt and store goods as per material storage conditions and associated SOP’s
  • Process necessary paperwork, delivery notes, certificates, stock cards prior to quarantining.
  • Performing stock checks and inventory control.
  • Checking work orders against material data base and physical counts of stock levels and highlighting any omissions or issues to the appropriate department / area.
  • Returning materials into Warehouse areas following production completion, ensuring stock cards and database are accurately updated.
  • Prepare drug product for off-site distribution, including palletisation and packing.
  • Ensuring COSHH, risk assessments and manual handling processes are adhered to for all activities
  • Be organised, have a keen eye for detail and follow GMP processes at all times.
  • Working closely with all site teams to ensure the timely transfer of material, equipment and consumables between departments.

Qualifications


How to be a successful candidate:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Forklift truck licence (ideally, though training will be provided

Skills & Knowledge

  • Good understanding of GMP required and the ability to understand and follow GMP standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
  • Ability to accurately input inventory data into a materials inventory database.

Experience

Essential in order to be considered

  • Previous GMP warehouse experience required, ideally working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience of following and completing GMP documentation.

Desirable

  • Forklift truck license
