Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing manager, you will be responsible for selling and booking all

Conference & Banquet events for the hotel. The successful Candidate will generate new business through

direct selling to hotel leads (both provided and sourced), attending trade shows and events, cold calling, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry. Hospitality industry experience

is a strong advantage. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual who possess an exceptional ability to think strategically and communicate effectively, focusing on overall client

satisfaction and maintaining long term relationships that generate quality leads.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods as per SOP’s.
  • Coordinate & schedule various conferences, meetings, events, banquets, concerts & social events

within the hotel. * Manage, prepare and circulate Calendar of events and Function sheet for various departments

throughout the hotel. * Liaise with various departments within the hotel and keep senior management updated weekly on all events in the hotel.

  • Manage hotel calendars and coordinate all events with various departments within the hotel using Guestline PMS.
  • Prepare reports to update all department within the hotel regarding all events, setup, catering,

payment etc. taking place in the hotel. * Achieve and manage sales budgets & targets.

  • Cross selling and provide additional support when required to other area of the sales team including

but not limited to: Wedding, Reservations and Banqueting. * Maintain an awareness of industry trends.

  • Attend industry trade shows from time to time
  • Expand customer base, attract new businesses and organisations to the hotel to increase revenue

streams. * Update & maintain customer database.

Salary: €26,000.00-€28,000.00 per year
